I would just like to say that it has been an absolute pleasure to have dealt with you both during the conception and birth of Tilly.

It was with some trepidation that we undertook to look for a new gundog puppy. Your informative website provided us with the confidence to make personal contact. From then on we knew that you were the right people to do business with. We had been to several other breeders but none of them could provide the professional but 'home grown' touch that you both could. It was clear that you love all your dogs and that you take the best care of them. We knew we would be getting a healthy well balanced puppy.

We initially made contact before Willow was mated but you both kept us updated and aware of events at every step of the way. Regular contact meant that by the time we came to visit we felt like old friends and were made very welcome. On the day of the pups' arrival I counted 7 text messages and three phone calls to let us know that all was well.

Paoates provide a professional yet very personal service. They say that home grown is best - in this instance we must agree - with  more attention to detail that any large breeder could possibly provide.

Paoates supplied us with a biddable, strong, healthy pup. We look forward to keeping in contact as Hazel and Phil are keen to know how their pups are progressing.

Dear Hazel & Phil

We spent a long time, both deciding to get a dog, and also which breed to get. We contacted Hazel and Phil, early on in our search, and from the beginning, they were always willing to give us their time and advice. When we eventually visited Paoates we fell in love with their dogs, full of energy, but gentle and affectionate. We decided the right dog was well worth waiting for, and were delighted when we heard they were breeding Buzz and Lou Lou.

From the time the pregnancy was confirmed to picking our new puppy up, Hazel has kept us updated about everything, giving us much needed help and advice to prepare for our puppy. As we live within an hour we also visited several times, and were always made to feel so welcome. Now we have our Buzz (named after his lovely dad) we can see how hard they must have worked, as he has a lovely temperament, and had obviously been well socialised before coming to join our family. We know that Hazel and Phil are only a phone call or e-mail away if we have any problems.

Dear Hazel and Phil

What a wonderful experience it has been  buying a puppy from you.  We originally could not make up our minds  whether or not to have another dog as our dog Oscar is 5 years old and we did not know whether he would accept another dog, however on reading about your dogs we had to come and see for ourselves.

When we met we could not believe the friendliness of you all. We all went for a long walk and it was wonderful seeing how Oscar loved running with your dogs especially the mum and dad, Buzz and Lou Lou, he looked so happy we decided we definitely wanted one of your puppies..

We were surprised at all the information and up dates we were given in connection with the puppy, tigger, that we had picked . When we bought our other dog Oscar he was just handed to us without any information or updates and that was that but  you sent pictures and kept us informed of his development.

All your dogs and puppies are remarkably well looked after and loved  you can feel this when you visit, both you and your dogs are all so friendly and  part of an extended family which I am sure Oscar would have joined given the invite..

We have enjoyed getting to know you all and we will keep in touch and let you know how tigger is progressing as we are sure you will want to know as we know that all your puppies are so valued by you.
